The Air Max 270 is the new darling of the Air Max line. Similar to last year’s release of the Air Vapormax, and to a lesser extent the Air Max LD-Zero the year before, Nike is hoping to push out an innovation in Air Max technology and create a new wave for their future. This latest model was announced late last year and will be featured as part of the Air Max Day festivities on Mar. 26. Before that, Nike will drop the Air Max 270 “Tonal Orange”.
This offering will give us a primarily Black flyknit upper. Nike Swooshes appear throughout the upper, on both sides of the quarter, and by the toe cap. On the tongue there is also a Nike Swoosh, but also the Air Max 270 logo appears. Boasting the largest Air Bubble of any Air Max shoe ever, this pair features the air bubble in a “Tonal Orange” color, giving it some variance. A gradient appearance is done on the air bubble that stretches to the heel counter.
